Saint Helen Church Faith Formation Mission Statement
St. Helen Parish offers a Faith Formation program for Pre-school through 12th grade youth.
The program exists to provide support for parents in their role as primary religious educators of their children.
Our purpose is to facilitate spiritual growth and to empower our youth to become living disciples and witnesses of Jesus Christ.
We offer catechesis and evangelization opportunities, a place for sharing in fellowship, worship, and prayer, and an invitation for families to minister to one another.
THEME “Finding God”
In a world torn apart by war, littered with racism, poverty, and immorality, it is often hard to find the face of God.
In a society centered on material happiness and celebrity worship, it is often hard to live a life centered on God.
This year’s faith formation theme, “Finding God” will be geared toward just that, finding God on a journey of faith in today’s world.
It is our goal as a faith formation team to rise up against the adversity and challenges facing young Christians and to guide them in their holy life with Jesus Christ.
